What are the basic classifications of artificial turf?

There are mainly three layers of artificial lawn. The ground base is solid and no deformation, and its surface is clean and impervious. That is the general concrete site. The ground floor is a backing layer, usually composed of rubber or foam plastics. The third layer is also the surface layer, which is made of straw fiber and filling layer. This layer must be glued to rubber or foam plastics.


Artificial grass, basically divided into long fiber,mdeium fiber and short fiber in three categories, subdivided into straight fiber, curly fiber and curly three categories.


1, long fiber grass: the length of grass fiber is between 32 and 50 millimeters. Generally used in football matches, training and horse racing fields, the grass density is from 150 to 180 needles.


2. Medium fiber grass: the length of grass fiber is from 19 to 32 millimeters. As an international competition venue for tennis courts, hockey and lawn bowls. For general training purposes, football, volleyball and basketball, tennis courts and other venues, track and even as a runway. The density of grass fiber is used from 180 to 220 needles.


3. Straight grass: the length of grass hair is from 6 to 12 millimeters. It is suitable for basketball courts, tennis courts, swimming pools, or landscaping.


Lawn type:

1, straight  grass: the most widely used and the most fun, the lowest price. In tennis courts, basketball courts and soccer fields, athletes are less likely to fall down and have less chance of scraping.

2, kochii: because the grass are bent and folded together, athletes wear little on grass. They are mostly used in football field.

3, Curly grass: grass fiber is a circle, folding more closely, especially for the lawn ball or ball rolling on the turf will not be laid in the direction of grass, affecting the rolling line of the ball and other higher movement. Commonly known as: undirected turf.
